As the former editor of Supply Chain Management Review, I had the pleasure of working with Alan on a number of articles over the years. As an author, he brings his real-world experience as a supply chain executive as well as his analytical eye as an academic in every article he writes. He is always insightful. We also worked together on the NextGen Supply Chain Conference, where Alan was one of my board members, and he was also a presenter and moderated panel discussions.
